Mentiaq uses as few cookies as possible. This page explains which ones exist and what they do.

1. Strictly necessary cookies

The restaurant dashboard and staff panel use a session cookie so you stay logged in, and the staff panel uses a signed cookie to remember a verified PIN. These are essential for the service to work and cannot be switched off.

Stripe sets its own cookies during checkout for security and fraud prevention, as described in Stripe's cookie policy.

2. What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics cookies on guest payment pages. Paying a bill through Mentiaq does not build an advertising profile of you.

3. Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential ones will simply log you out of the dashboard or staff panel; guests can always pay without creating an account.
